  • Flower is one of the Henryville 33, an emergency intake of 33 rabbits who were seized by authorities in Scott County, IN, for neglect and abuse and eventually released to rescue by the court. Shortly after coming into rescue, Flower surprised us with 8 healthy and adorable kits. Flower was a great momma to them, even though they occasionally got a bit too clingy and she begged to be free roaming on her own. All kits constantly used to sit up on their hind paws, periscoping their surroundings, which reminded us a lot of the meerkats in an Animal Planet documentary. Thus, momma and babies were all named after some of the meerkat cast. Now that her kits have grown, gentle Flower is ready to pack her bags and move to her forever home where she will be loved and spoiled. If you would like to know more about Flower, please contact mary@harveyshouse.org. Our adoption fee is $65 for a single rabbit and $110 for a bonded pair. The adoption process consists of a phone interview, a visit to meet the rabbit you are interested in, a vet reference and a home check. Please see our website for the adoption questionnaire, which is the first step in the process: http://www.harveyshouse.org/ourfosterrabbits/adoption-questionnaire/}
